About Me: My love for cooking started when I was 8 years old. My grandmother, Olive Seymour, would make me cook rice and she was a stickler for error. She would literally dump out the pot if my rice was too mushy. I've been getting it right every since.
For this dish I'm preparing brown rice stir fry with veggies baked fillet talapia fish. I'm cooking with three pieces of fish. Make the dish your own feel free to substitute ingredients or omit them, you can use white rice; a different type of fish. Add whatever vegetables you want I always cook with "I cant believe its not butter", if preferred you can use olive oil.
Cookware: Large Teflon Pan, or wok, Glass or Aluminum baking dish, medium size pot.
Seasonings for this recipe: Sea Salt, Black pepper, Lemon Pepper, Onion, Garlic, powder,oregano, Celery seeds, Ground mustard, Soy Sauce*I used La Choy*Two limes
Veggies: Mushroom, Red Onion, Garlic cloves, Broccoli, Cilantro.
2.Boil enough water for desired amount of rice your preparing. When water begins to boil add butter, sea salt garlic, onion powder, lemon pepper. Turn temp down cover let rice simmer till cooked fluff with a fork.
4. Melt butter add mushroom saute till brown set a side

Melt butter add onions and garlic saute till brown. put aside enough sauteed garlic and onions to layer underneath of fish and garnish the top. add broccoli and mushrooms to the remainder of sauteed onions and garlic still in wok mix. Add rice mix together. Season with garlic, onion powder, lemon pepper, ground mustard , celery seeds.Use a shot glass pour half full with soy sauce dilute with water add to the veggie rice mix. set aside
6. layer bottom of baking glass with sauteed onions and garlic, place pieces of fish on top, squeeze lime juice from lime over fish garnish top of fish with sauteed onions and garlic, add cilantro top with oregano. Bake for 30~35min at a 350 temperature. 15~20 minutes into baking get a turkey baser and base fish with juices from fish baking in oven. if needed add more butter do not let fish dry out while baking.
