As you know Acting is also a passion of mine. You can see me in "The Chronicles of Herbert & Cleofis" by Bobby Huntley, and also "Life in the Fast Line" by Tavares Wilson. There are a few more but these are the most current. When I found this post, I had to share. I know my inner circle will enjoy this. My Take: In the Black community, we have inherited not so positive traits in regards to how we support one another. It is important for use to value our own creativity as well as others. We as a strong group of people and should not seek validation from Mass media or any other group for that matter. All we should do is love everyone the same, and share what we have to offer. Seeking validation is worry about what another group thinks. Worry is the absents of Faith and doubt is the cousin of fear. Choose to have faith, things are becoming better for Black people. The main concern is making sure we have just as much positive media as we do negative. Let's stride to have a balance of the two.
